Hidden Technology


A wall relief sculpture, incorporating a white roller shade, was designed to conceal the flatscreen TV when not in use, preventing its large black surface from dominating the living room. The television controls are housed in a flip‐out tray at the bottom.

when grasped, balanced lighting that is without glare, and sensory qualities that reward a user’s attentions.

Tactile Art


Many of the concrete "stepping stones" comprising the driveway at this shore house, are embossed with leaves taken from the landscape of the owner’s primary home in Pennsylvania. They add a richness of nuance upon arrival or when departing.

The fronts of the cabinetry in the living room of this house feature wood cut on a bias – evoking ripples of water found at nearby water habitats.
