Media as Optional

While it is often desirable to share movies and sports events with friends, speakers and screens should not dominate rooms when not in use. This house uses a diptych of sliding woodblock prints to covertly conceal the audio‐visual technology when not in use.

Guest Accommodations

In this summer camp in Maine, the owners sought to enhance the stay of guests by creating a separate guest suite above their detached garage – rather than have everyone sharing the same roof. It allows owners and guests to enjoy more flexibility.
